Whats your favorite map that rarely gets played?

Post by waldov »

Mutrah, Fallujah, Kashan, Saaremaa etc. are all probably on most players top 3 favorite maps given how much they're (over)played, but I'm curious about which maps people like that don't get much love? What reasons do you like the map for? I want to get some better ideas out there for server admins, if its not too daunting for new players thats a bonus.

Mestia is the perfect map for seeding.

I really like the map, but i have to disagree due to no INF layout. We only get STD and LRG, with too many active flags to focus on, so seeding, or playing it with smaller number is meh.
INF layout focusing route with one attack/defend could easilly fix that. And ALT could be utilised with militia compund as last cappable flag. The map itself is good, but layers are broken.

Personally i really like Tad Sae, Korengal and Hill 488. Good maps for smaller numbers, climatic and fun.

It was Lashkar.
Sadly my 2 mappers lost their interest in PR and stopped working.
I send the files to some KIA guys back in the days and dont know if they kept working on it.

The map featured:
-Mujahedin faction (Bold action guns)
-Soviet faction with INF mounted Tanks
-and other cool stuff

Would be nice if anyone could finish it...

Its a 1km map with like 200m between flags. These points are so close to eachother.

I know what you mean, but I'm only saying that it's not good for seeding - both teams have to split, and then split again to attackers/defenders.

I liked INF alot, because even with 20p it was fun to play. Removing it didn't do any good.

The split is intentional, accounting for potential 100 players.

Anyway
