Low GPU Usage

Since I downloaded PR I have this problem, the GPU has an usage of 20-30% and never goes up.

Two things that are important: the drivers are up to date and the GPU is overclocked.


My PC:

- i7 4790 @3.6 GHz
- GT 1030 2GB GDDR5
- 16GB RAM DDR3 (2x
- 1TB HDD
- Windows 8.1 64bits

Pretty normal I'd say, the mod is almost always bottlenecked by the CPU due to it being single threaded, so the GPU isn't stressed that much.

In that case, every single core goes up to 4GHz in Turbo Boost mode, so why im getting low usage in both CPU and GPU?

I also have this cuestion: Does the afinity (Task manager -> Details -> right click on .exe -> Set affinity) affects the way how bf2 uses the cpu? or it just sticks with 1 core?

By the way, a while ago i was getting up to 60% GPU usage, and 4 threads around 30-60% usage and the game was running at 100fps.

Single core at full power and GPU practically idle is a completely normal BF2 behavior. This game is not designed for CPUs with multiple cores and GPUs past 2007.
