Project Reality: BF2 Launcher has stopped working

I'm having trouble trying to open the PR, when I open the PR client, it prompts for login as steam, presses and opens the browser to login, but after clicking on the login, the PR stops working, causing the error Project reality: BF2 Launcher stopped working and then closes on its own ... This happened after upgrading to version 1.6.

I had the same problem and Thank God I fixed it by freeing some space in the hard drive in order to let it finish the update
