I want to start modding, but dont know how to start

I very want to mod project reality so i can make Indonesia armed forces but there is problems.

I cant model
I cant code
I'm still a student so i cannot make it in weekdays so more times in development
Project reality is a dying game and im scared that this game is dead in development of my mod

So what should i do

The real question is what do you want to learn to do? There is Mapping, Modelling, Texturing, Sounds, Music, 2D Artwork, Animation and Coding to name a few, although some have big sub-sections such as Static Modelling (ie, making buildings) which is very diffrent (at least in BF2) from Weapon/Vehicle Modelling.

Then once you've decided, you should focus on that one subject you're intreasted in and/or think you might be good at, and then try and perfect that. There are plenty of turoials listed in Aladen's link you can follow for each subject.

If you find you don't like it or no good at it, you can try your hand at something else but don't be too quick to give up a subject, you may just find you don't like the learning curve part rather than the actual subject.
