Question about commanding AI

I play this beautiful game in coöp, sometimes with a friend. Its really fun, but its hard to give your squad orders. I know you can say move and the most time they do(not always) the same for defend. But there is not more. It would be fun if you could say things like: hold fire, Give me a range, spread out and also that you can control soldiers seperate. Maybe its in the game, but if its not, is there also a mod?
