We all know of a certain server that takes rule enforcement to the next level. If you look on their forums, you can see they get some kind of personal fulfillment out of confronting rule breakers. It's almost like they have no life and being a "PR Cop" is all they know. Sad really.
They are single handedly destroying this games population. Shooting in main base can get you a Permanent ban. That example right there is enough for you to see what I mean. The biggest point of all is this is a small community and to have dozens of pointless rules in place that kill this small community is not right in any way.
At the end of the day this is a game we come here to "Play" and have "Fun" and the server I'm speaking of sucks the "Fun" right out of this game.
Discuss here what you think enforcement of rules means to you and how much punishment is needed in this game. ( i.e. Hackers, Asset Theft , Shooting in main , teamkills )
R-Devs please don't lock this thread, this needs to be discussed before this game dies out and loses all population.

Re: Views on Server rule enforcement
I agree, the Test Server 36446:8281 - /trunk is really taking things to another level when dealing with racists.

Re: Views on Server rule enforcement
Your personal vendetta becomes quite transparent finding out you were banned on HOG for being a racist without ever appealing (HOG standard procedure afaik is a 30-day ban for this offense). Instead you choose to create this account that exclusively posts about HOG.Joovy wrote:We all know of a certain server that takes rule enforcement to the next level. Server rule enforcement is up to the servers to handle within the license agreement. You can post in each server's feedback thread how your view their rule enforcement, as others are doing frequently.
