"Updated auto-cannon overheat to allow longer bursts on slower firing guns."
Some fast firing auto-cannons overheat so fast that it feels like an unintended effect of this change rather than a balance change done on purpose.
Examples are the Havoc, Apache and BMP2, but the worst offender is the French Tigre HAP.

Not really a bug. All 600RPM guns behave the same and can still shoot out more bullets in shorter time than the slower firing counter parts.

That doesn't explain why P51 overheats after shooting for 2-3 seconds but the 109 never overheats at all in a dogfight (IK its kind of off the topic)

Re: Autocannon overheat since 1.7.2.0
iirc the Apache's M230 chain gun can fire continuously until it is out of ammunition, and should not be overheating at all (not sure if that is happening?). The weapon is capable of a higher fire rate in excess of 600RPM, but this is purposefully lowered to avoid overheating.
