PR:BF2 root directory not found

I recently moved from Linux back to Windows 10 and installed PR. After running the first time successfully booting it the second time gave me an error, "8: PR:BF2 root directory not found", I have installed it in "D:\Games\ProjectReality BF2" and added an exception in Windows Defender just in case. All the posts I could find in the forums did not help. How can I resolve this?

So, installing it in the default location made it work
