Questioning bot intelligence and functionality in PVP games

Since I played PVP alot, I saw that there is an option just to play with Bots. Are bots any Intelligent? do they work correctly? I read about bots and alot of people complained about bots not working properly, not healing you, not giving ammo etc...

Why not try? Just start a solo game and start a local server with bots.

To be more specific, this has been a big problem in the COOP community, it's been going on for a long time now, bots definitely need an overhaul.

Apparently PR devs are currently in talks with Elon over this exact problem.
