This is the ultimate troll the enemy hiding spot, you will become legendary, known as one of the tree people, an Ent.

Camouflaged, roped up a tree branch. Either ask a breacher/spotter to put you up a tree branch or get yourself up there as breacher/spotter. The more guys up trees the better so put others up trees, the more trouble enemy runs into.

The terror of the enemy actually having to say "They are in the trees".

All the ways they will discover you, like hearing a footstep or crawling above them, shell casing falling down. Seeing one of their guys below the tree get shot from straight above. Seeing you on a lower part of the branch.

The best places to do it are in the defense flag which you can wait for enemy, you know the times when nobody is defending your teams flag? Perfect time to have some fun, or sneak into the enemy flag first as a breacher up a tree.

Its hard to see far out of the tree because the leaf material, but you can peak through gaps and if something goes behind a leaf, shoot that leaf and you will at least hit near them.

Then the enemy that walks below you, it gives me jollies almost as good as getting stepped on while playing dead.

Your 1st bullet of a mag is always a tracer unless the game has specified otherwise like for marksmen, snipers, bolt actions. So get rid of your 1st tracer bullet into a tree to get a few shots until next tracer gives you away.

You can use the commo rose voice commands to make noise to draw the enemy in, baiting them, you can fire into the sky to make enemy look for your weapon noise.

You will enjoy how they run around looking for you, right below you. If you have a pistol or an SMG, you can put a bullet in them. Make them waste patch. Pistol sounds different, more silent, harder to triangulate, easier to mask the sound of shot from any chaotic noises, like with helicopter right over.

Shotgun is another fun weapon too, no tracer, hard to triangulate, has less damage over longer distance.

If you want to compromise your position for some psychological shock and awe, you can drop down on enemy who stops right below your tree with a knife, but beware of the firing delay after you drop, you can't let the enemy you drop down on see you drop, you have only that 1 second the game delays your weapon use as a surprise...

Unless the player is scratching his rump, distracted or something, you ain't dropping down from a tree branch with a knife infront of him to the point he see it happen. That is where this turns into a horror game.

Just imagine their reaction though, seeing you drop down with a knife whether you get them or not, say a full squad witnesses that happen to their squad leader.

They might light you up, but between potential mines, guys playing dead or in bushes on the ground, they will forever remember the time somebody walked below a tree then something like a spiderman got them.
