Firstly i would like to say what a fantastic server you guys run, its the only one i bother to play on now.

after continuous daily & nightly play for around 2 weeks now i have built up a fantastic rapour as a squad leader on your server, with guys regualy logging on to join my squad,which i find fantastic.

keep up the great work, however this evening i have one small grievance...

i sit here looking at the server list screen continuously updating, to wait for space onto your 48 server...

great im finally in and able to rendavous with top cat for a couple of rounds...
but that was short lived as i then was removed to make space for admin after 5 mins, no probs i thought, hey after all they pay for the server ect.

so i sat there looking at my server list screen again for 15mins, yay finally got a slot, started playing and 5 mins on i was removed again to make space..

you get where i'am going with this, but all in all i was removed 5 times in a row, each time when i was removed i went back and waited patiently only to be kicked again...

surely there is some other system you guys could use other than to boot the player with a 0 score...

dont want to put a damper on a great server for something so trivial but it really is quite frustrating...

hmm... sounds to me like that server should have reserved slots for the admins so they don't have to go kicking people like that.

Hardly. If we had reserved slots for all iGis there would only be a few places left for others.

Unfortunately if an iGi member wants to join we do kick the player at the bottom. It's tough luck Kroney64 that you kept trying to join and were kicked again. We did have a lot of iGis on tonight.

There isn't really any other way we can kick people I don't think. It's just the way it is.

Yeah, its tough luck, but it is fair.

That being said, with the release of .5 it seems like there are so many servers out there. TG is almost ALWAYS full, and chances are that Gloryhoundz, OSF, or one of a handfull of other servers will be going good.

Each server should have at least one (two max) reserved slots for admins only. Any more than that and you're wasting space on your server.

As for constantly being kicked to make room for iGi members...well I don't agree with this UNLESS those members are helping pay for the server. Kicking other players on the server (aka possible clan members) to make room for a member itching to get on isn't very nice (especially the same person). I would have tried to look for someone who was AFK first.

Hey kroney64 the best way for you to be save of kicks on IGI is to join them *g*.

Its the Server from IGI so the can kick everyone to make room for there own members. Reserved Slots suxxs and its not realy a option for an Admin to add reserved Slots to a Server.

wish i could get back onto that server, ive been 'banned for exessive tks or by an admin' for about 2 months now, when i didnt do any of that ****.

It wasn't as many as 5 times kroney. It was a couple at most. We just kick whoever is bottom and who is actually on the server on the side we want a space on. You were just unlucky tonight I guess as there was a lot of clan members coming on at once. It does't help when you have a memorable name either.

If you can give me your CD key hash i'll unban you. I think you've served your time and you seem to make a positive contribution to the community here.

(Unfortunately the name details on our ban list got deleted a while back so I can't tell which of the 20 or so unidentifiable bans is you until I see your CD key hash)

I played iGi a few nights ago, found it marvellous, it's been impossible to join ever since.

Had some games on other nice servers, but none of them have beaten the squad fun on iGi.

well it was 4 times at the time of writing, 5 by the time i actually got on there lol...

dont get me wrong i wasnt complaining as such, as i totally agree with removing low scoring players... maybee was just unlucky i guess...

on that note then chaps, point me in the direction where i can become an igi member

i wouldnt have to think twice about contributing to that server, player conduct is fantastic!!!!

is there like a home page or something rather?

i would also like to add, my squad eneded up having a fantastic couple of rounds on there, especially on sunset city! pure class

iGi is growing, hopefully not out of control! It seriously won't be long before we have our own army to go jumping all over our enemies!

As to being unable to get on the server, well sometimes I have to kick people just so at least one iGi can get on to make sure the server is admined! Other times when a whole gang want to get on, it must just be unfortunate to keep getting kicked over and over, total coincidence. These servers cost quite a lot to rent for the year, so iGi members all donate something towards the rent and the way things are we can hardly deny them their moneys worth

You never know, if enough people are serious about gaming, decide to contribute to the system, then maybe there might be an .:iGi:. 2nd PR server up eventually!

Seriously though - and forgive me if this comes over as conceited, it's not my intention - it's the price of popularity as far as the server goes. We all want a scrim of an evening & us married .:iGi:. members have to take our fights when we can get 'em, trust me.

think being banned for that is bad?

i got banned from my ex-clans servers (about 4) for no reason at all, won't even give me a reason.

perm ban too, also banned another freind who was helping get unbanned... but got himself banned for messing with another clans server

these server are in CoD and you can admin through the console, so if you don't type it right it will go through chat and leak the server password to everyone. the server was running a mod which he had a server that runned, so he turned all of these settings up and banned the whole clan from its own server.

but anyways, being banned wasn't so bad for you, but getting perm banned from 4 of the best servers really does suck
