realistic use of defrib/ Army Air Ambulence

Post by Super62 »

I was watching Mail Call last night, and learned something that might solve our defrib problem, UH60Q medics carry defribs. I have two ideas: 1. The medic would have to be unarmed but he would be the only one who could use the defrib. The defrib would spawn in the unarmed blackhawk and the air medic only would be able to use the defrib. As for getting shot at, the blackhawk could land in a nofire zone(possible?) to simulate the rear area and the medic could do his or her thing. Then the person would have full health or half health. 2, this is the same as 1 except instead of being able to recover quickly, the person would die after getting defribed and have a longer spawn time than normal BUT he would not lose anypoints. The maps would all have be modded to have the UH60Q. I suppose we could do something simliar with the M113 medic vehicle or the striker.

Not sure people would play unarmed in any circumstances.

How do dead people get to this nofire zone exactly? The medic aint gonna get out there unarmed and leg it across the map to get to them!

the answer to that is high point rewards and extra flares and radar jamming abilities

It is a good suggestion, but I'm not sure if it's even possible to do that. While there are still respawns, it would be impractical anyway. Something to look at though.

There's no such thing as a nofire zone in this game.

Good idea. Would be awesome if this could be implemented, but most likely doubtful.
