it seems like they got around the thing ware a vehicle cant go on/inside another vehicle. if so that means good news for alotta mod teams

no vehicles on it.

also it would be possible to have the vehile spawn onto the base of it, and have its physics locked and basicly hoocked onto the boat, and it would follow the boat where ever it went. BUT if a player decied he wanted to get into the tank, the physcis lock would become undone and all hell would brake loose.

That sounds somewhat promising for naval assaults. If only the tank could be locked until the ship comes to a stop or reaches a certain zone...

even if it was stopped, i think it would still have a very bad effect.... just not as much.

Forgotten Hope had this. Tanks and APCs would spawn on the LCT. They jittered about a bit, but it still worked.

That was in the BF1942 engine. That engine was much better for vehicle collusions. You could take off from moving carriers and stand on aircraft wings without the jitter and spontaneous combustion BF2 has.

Oh, I was under the impression that the Battlefield 2 engine was more advanced and had built upon the BF42 engine-- oh that's right, we're talking about BF2, and Dice, and EA. Never mind then. It all makes sense now.

i was thinking in something like this :

-when you fly, the bomb model is merge to the plane but when you drop the bomb , the model "disappears" and a bomb spawn in the midle of the air ; now replace the plane with the ship, and the bomb with the tank :) , also you can make the fire botton (when you spawn the tank ) only capable to fire when the ship is near the coast , dont know if is possible :/

what if you made it so you could lock it and vehicles would spawn on it and if someone would try to drive the boat stuff would stop spawning or something?

Yea, but the bombs aren't drivable, which leads me to my next point, can we get a kit where you sit on the falling bomb with a cowboy hat in your hand? Just saying, morale booster.

Also on the bomb thing, we need the abillity to place C4 on to people so they can run in and blow themselves up!! Jihad!
