[UGK] Clan Movie help request

Hi, Guys I think the name of the thread kind of sums it all up. lol But to really get in detail about it. To start it off we're a farely new clan to Project Reality and we really enjoy the mod as a whole. Now I've been planning many bf2 movies, but most of them seem to evolve around having many ppl in a server at once. Really this is one of the only few games that supports that idea well and does it well at the sametime.

Now the only thing that limits my ideas are the ppl I have to work with. So after stumbling across this bf2 mod we thought hey maybe this is possible for a few reasons. A great mod to film with and a mature community that is able to do things in a fast, smooth, coordinated manner.

And basicly thats what this video will show off well the most. The kickass features of the mod, all the cool editing and visual effects using adobe premire/effects and w/e other resources that include editing a video, and a alot of awesome tightly coordinated squad movement consisting alot of realistic military battle all wrapped up in 4 minutes and 21 seconds of really depressiong music lol.

If anyone likes the idea or is interested in helping that would be great, btw we need atleast 20 to 30 ppl. That maximum number 30 is our goal the more the ppl the better the movie, BUT the HARDER it will be also. So we can't have ppl cutting up or messing around. Just come in the server sit there and wait til everyone is in and listen to us direct everyone around in every which way.

We want to rehearse everything before we actually start filming and we planned a set date for that being March 3rd. The only down is I work and I don't get my schedule until like thursday or saturday it self so i will know in a week in advance if the date is to change. So i will inform everyone of the date if needed be.

Us being a clan on the rebound we have pretty limited funds, and have no bf2 server. So we need a server, if possible a custom edition of the mod allowing easy access to kits, etc, and EJOD Desert edited to include every vehicle. None of us have any map editing skills. I guess when you focus on work, killing things online and video editing the only time left for anything else is women.

So i think thats about it i hope everyone likes this idea and is willing to participate and if capable of any of the following please. Let me know by saying so in this thread. Any other information needed please ask and i will answer.

Oh, you european based? Cause if so, I could get you a server and a whole bunch of crazy monkeys from Norway. They won't play "stupid guard nr 4" as well as I do ..., but maybe they can contribute.

Great!! this is turning out alot better then I hoped, wow you guys are great man. Well the plan was to direct through Teamspeak, but now that I think about it theres

noway our temp. Teamspeak server is going to hold 30+ ppl it would crash i'm sure before we could see the day.

So if anybody has a decent TS server that would be great also.
I see you guys are already picking parts thats cool i need ppl doing what they can do best. So that means plane/helicopter pilots who fly well and drivers who have a sense of depth on the road lol. Which i don't in this game its hard backing up and stuff with out mirrors and what not lol.

Were american btw but if you can get some Euro peeps who can match our time that would be great too.

Now the basic run down is theres alot going to be going on while focusing on the main squads/convoy of this short story. I need 2 tank drivers and the gunners for em, 2 full APCs and 2 full humvees. And thats just the main ppl. That doesn't include the 2 or 3 hand full of infantry soldiers running around on both Marine and MEC teams. Also along with the 2 bomber planes, 2 blackhawks, and some mini-birds.

Please tell your friends and buddys about this cause we need lots n lots of ppl.

Also i just got a message from phily it seems he can't make the 3rd so hows this weekend sound to anybody? If not I have to talk to my other clan m8 and reschedule another rehearshal date.

Well still need a BF2, a TS server and if possible someone to editor EJOD Desert to have all the vehicles in the game on it. I'm looking around for the map editor and for some tuts but if anyones willing to do it please do.

We've secured a server that'll accommodate everyone and still have reasonable pings with the battle recorder on full quality.

I've taken a look at the map editor and i've come to the conclusion that it'd take more time learning and stall the project if we edit the map so is there anyone, anyone at all that'll loan their talents to us to mod EJOD desert? It would require adding additional vehicles that aren't loaded in the map.
