I have noticed a bunch of new players...

Lately there has been a bunch of new players me being one of them. But i have adapted to this style of game play real fast(i blame it on the fact that i play Americas Army) so many people when they play with me in game dont believe that i just started like 4 days ago. But this can not be said about many of the other new players. I find myself seeing the stupid things from vanilla being done. For example i ran into a TK clan today and it sucked!! I ended up leaving the room. I also see just random playing and not the kind of playing i was seeing when i first started. Its very subtle but im feeling something different.

Do you guys think this will last for long or will the new players get used to it and play right?

It takes about 30 days after every release for the play quality to get to where it should be.

it should go away, but for now its unplayable some times in servers. And I keep joing up into servers with people arguing about the gameplay. Lots of people who have found out about the mod but dont really care about it and play anyways to just be random. There Iditos and I hate them. They call you stupid for wanting to use teamwork and tell you to just play the game. I see that alot lately.

And they dont always have to type something to see these kinds of people. You can tell by the way some people play. I would join this one guys squad, he was all alone, and then 2 more people joined, the first guy left and made another squad, so i joined that one, and he left agian. After 2 more times he finnaly typed in "Stop coming in my squad you idiot, I dont want to play together" I said "you know you can lock the squad" haha, what an idiot.

That is one of the main reasons I object to lowering the default spawn timer

I knew it would be, I love things that dissuade tards but still fit properly in a game world. Further to that I would also recommend that the RP rucksacks be made larger so that squad members can spawn inside the rucksacks and climb out. It may sound clownish… god knows we have all seen 20 clowns climbing out of a barrel at a circus (at least I have) but on the other hand its better than the magicians trick of them appearing out of thin air. Hmmm… (puts on serious hat) have the developers ever given thought to doing chute drops onto RP’s instead of thin air spawns?

few things that are funny every time when new players join the game.
1. you get in a chopper without pilot kit probaply even tk the orginal pilot then you just sit there and shout in a chat "wtf why i cant fly this chopper man this is bugged game" or something like that

2. you go to apc/tank without crewman. same thing why this turret doesnt move or why i cant drive them

3. you bail from chopper and have some time to realise that there is no chute. that is the funniest thing allways when chopper full of noobs drop to ground and die

hehe I have notice some great moment of "Vanilla Goes PR", I connected to our server FpsFocus 2 ..... haha lol ... Se if I remember this right . . . .
I where MEC and I was on my way to mecjet on the Airfield . . . Not many people in the server....
I thought .... good day for little practice GulfFlying ..... Nice weather and a good day to die on .. "Derkka!"

I notice a strange .....footstep behind me...and a familar sound of Steel....ahahah OMG I thought....My wish was to die at least in warsituation in Derkka Jet.... NOT with a big fu..... Mec knife in my back. loool

But the great moment was to se after I´ve been slaughter (on my own server to) . . . The "pl" runs like hell to the plane, full throttle big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, the airfield just burst in flames, from the over heated Jet motors. . . .

Then I spawn in . . . . took same route to the plane,he is still in the cockpit and trying figure out what happening..

hahaha saw his panic took over and he run away like "Benny Hill" on the Airfield (think he was seized with dread and worry about the future life)

I wrote "Do you have some trouble?"

He just disappeared ..... last I saw him where at the North Hills of Airfield.....

I think most of what is to be said about lame players is said here. Noobs do not bother me - its people who don't know what RTFM is or who refuse to do so. When the chopper warmup thing came out in .5 I dealt with it when first flying. Why? Because I bothered to read the posts long before the release.

It seems there are too many people who play PR without knowing/caring what it is all about. There is a dedicated Mutrah server that I will never play in again. I eventually TK'd some silly pilot who was crashing the chopper full of people, getting a pilot kit and repeating. What an ***. He did not get the message so I TK'd him till I was kicked by Punkbuster - I was that pissed off.

In reality, friendly fire incidents/accidents go to a military court/tribunal. It would be nice to see the same here. Also, a pilot who crashes 1 minute after getting in a chopper should not be able to fly the rest of the round.

Being ignorant is no excuse - death to the lam3rs. Lol. Firefox lets me write lam3rs but not lamers. My MOTD - If u are not willing to practice your **** flying abilities then stick to the ground.

Sorry can't remember the name but there are going to be more vanilla style PR servers because there is an element of lazy childishness that must have it's toys right away and waiting for 30-60sec per spawn or 5 min for vehicles is just no FUN.

As mentioned that kid of server attracts all the l1mpd1ck's from vanilla to come and spawnrape,baserape etc.

Best thing is to avoid those servers and make fun of people who play on them.

Well, I'm just glad that not all n00bs are stupid. I have met some that were actually interested in Teamplay, and some even listened to my VOIP orders on the squad

Of course there will always be the hardcore idiots who couldn't get a pilot kit if it stepped them in the scrotum.

Yup and it would be nice being able to distinguish them before you hop onto them. As they don't even mention these changes on the loading page ...

Are we going to have to go check a list of graded servers in order to not loose our time ?

Frankly those servers shouldn't be listed in the server list as 'same mod' as they only weaken the community and PR spirit.
