New To Mapping.

Post by SteelRainFilms »

Having been inspired by a lot of the work the PR Team does, I have become very interested in mapping & creating my own maps. Now I have absolutely no idea where to start nor what software I need. So your basically talking to a deep dark pit right now as far as mapping goes.

I basically want to start small, very small, creating small buildings or objects, then moving onto creating maps a few buildings in size & eventually onto creating entire maps...e.g Muttrah, Basrah etc...

I'm willing to to take my time, as I know this is going to take months to learn how to do.

Good luck with your mapping.... patience is a virtue, and the BF2 Editor forums will be your best friend!.... Start small and experiment often....

Also, take a look at Rhino's "setting up your editor post".... IMO probally the most important thing to do if your going to try out the editor...

Cheers,
