lack of vehicles
in large map like jabal , albasurah and ejod the lack of vehicles is really a problem .
in real life , operation of big magnitudes like take a city of retake a city use a lot of vehicles ,vehicles are often the 40% of the infantery ,maybe more. we need something like 4-5 jeeps per site , not 3 like albasurah or jabal .
in jabal for example , the APC always respawn in the carrier , thats ridiculous . if the marines secure both beach ,suplies and vehicles traffic are constant . maybe one APC per flag .
opinions?

I disagree. If you look at historical urban battles, vehicles have not been the deciding factor; it's been the infantry. I believe that the problem with many games that I've played is people think the vehicles can survive without infantry support. Too many times I've seen a tank drive straight into a hostile area of the city without infantry only to be destroyed. Better teamwork and coordination between infantry and vehicles make it a very balanced map.

Yeah, well too many times i have run down a road in a straight line (i know, never run straight) but then ive seen a tank (friendly) come up right behind me, run me over and squish my poor good looking handsome head all over the mud whilst my scalp becomes stuck in the cats.<S8>Inchon wrote:Too many times I've seen a tank drive straight into a hostile area of the city without infantry only to be destroyed.
Tanks should have horns or something, i was told as i dont weigh as much as the tank, or because the tank grossly outsizes me, "I WAS IN THE WRONG" erm? I don't think so matey.
lol, road rage will get you stuck in levenworth. May I suggest anger managment?El_Vikingo wrote:YEAH? WELL IF THE NOOBS DON?T F*CK UP THE F*CKING VEHICLES, THEN THERE WOULD BE SOME LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! F*CK!

Jabal is fine for viechles. just not Pilots.
The USMC has enough choppers to get the job done easily.
however, its about 1 in 4 that manages to get back the the carrier to get the last remaining squad(s).
LB west beach, BH east beach, BH Bridge, LB dam. That works fine i find, if done properly.

Typing in capitals in considered as shouting in the forum community.El_Vikingo wrote:I don't know what caps lock is, sorry but I don't know how to tuen it off.
Btw, I'm not shouting, I'm typing in capitals.
I beleive the correct term is called Marching. Or as our forces use slang "Quick tab". Boots are made for walking, not driving. Would you rather get in a bulelt magnet with some "dood" driving knowing that your chances of surviving are virtually zero? What if you run out of gas? or have a puncture? Get spotted by enemy armour? more importantly, take a round through the windscreen? not very pleasent i tel lyou.77SiCaRiO77 wrote:And how do you transport those mans to de battlefield , walking? , with this topic i was talking about trnasport vehicles specialy .
I will stick with my boots, that way, im in control of who sees me or not and how long i survive.
Nothing funnier then running down a road and seeing 3 hummers drive passed, laden to the roof with infantry.. and then seing them blow up..

'[R-MOD wrote:Mongolian_dude']errr....under what basis does it make sense more than the carrier?
...mongol...
i will try to explain this (my bocabulary is limited as you can see
choopers fly faster than APC ,so the falgs will be taked by choopers .when the choopers secure both beachs , in real life , the navy sand the anphibius suport , but they send it constantly .
in pr the apcs spawn at carrier for the anphibius assault , but when they secure both flags , to simulate the constandly send of reinforcemens , apc would spawn at flags .
EDIT:
to 38483829482911 :
searcht for assault videos in youtube , you only see soldiers walking when they are "near" the city or urban target , for transport them to there they use hummves , m113 and trasnport trucks

i agree there are a low amount of vehicles in the game. in reality....half the army is vehicles....especaially on large maps it gets irritating since ill be in one spawn area with no vehicle in sight and have to go ALL the way to other side on foot and occasionally will take whole time to finally get there. More vehicles would be nice/appreciated.

dont really help all the time...on big map you can have a rally point on one side but need to be on other...and you cant set another rally point...and no vehicles...then you end up walking the whole map and game ends on you by time you get there.....also i find ralley points not really realistic. Believe me I have no prob. with them in game but i mean when in reality can a soldier just appear out of nowhere where there squad leader would want them to? hahaha thats just my view though. In game its a big help XDcoderedfox wrote:Thats what Rally point are for
