An Old Favorite

Altough probably most noticably used in WW2, they are still in use today, what im talking about here is rifle grenades... Could PR by any chance have these incorporated into the game, say as a secondary anti-tank selection or grenadier, so instead of having your kit be composed of an SMG and a heavy anti-tank weapon, give the option to have an Assualt Rifle and some Rifle Grenades for use against lighter vehicles and fortications... Or even have them stached in certain areas on maps, like a weapons catch could be in a house on the map where you could find these and pick them up, if im correct to, these have less arch then a M203, so they can be used more as a direct fire weapon, similar to an RPG(Rocket Propelled Grenade). But to make up accuracy and power, the player could have to take out his magazine, sleeve the round over the barrel, and also place a blank cartidge in the chamber to fire the grenade, altough these cant be used quickly like an M203, im sure they would be extremly useful in ambushing, and eliminating fortified positions where a top attack using M203 may not be as easy, such as a tower, building, etc. Or if your pinned down by a MG, these could be useful to pop up quickly and fire, unlike an M203 where you have to compinsate for arch, etc. I serouisly think PR should consider Rifle Grenades in PR.

Yes, we have considered rifle grenades for implementation in Project Reality. Up until recently (prior to the introduction of the L17A1 Underslung Grenade Launcher) a soldier or two in each British Infantry section would carry two rifle grenades.

Also, rifle grenades are common in less-developed countries. In Iraq, the local license-produced AK variants (Tabuk Assault Rifle family) had built-in sights for rifle grenades.

BTW, most modern rifle grenades are "bullet-through" or "bullet-trap," and do not need a blank cartridge these days.

Well I could really see rifle grenades being implemented for use by the MEC, due to the MEC being mostly made up of older weapons for Russia and 3rd world countries, also the Chinese use them on the FAMAS, so the Brit's could have the Undeslung Grenade Launcher, MEC and Chinese could have Rifle Grenades, and American's, maybe some sort of light explosive ordnance launcher, say a LAW or Predator for use by a lighter Anti-Armor Personal, and leave the Javelin to the Heavier tank guy if the Javelin is included.
