Modeler - Gun

Post by Akuma »

Hey guys sorry if this is in the wrong section. But over the day ive been looking for a good bf2 mod i could join. I thought of swtiching mod making from hl2 and start on some bf2 stuff. I dont have bf2 but im getting it this sartuday "woot". I hope i can get a spot in this good team as a weapon modeler. I currently use 3ds max and im 13. I cant animate or skin sorry if that has a big effect on my application. Ill show you some previous work. I do work hard on my models . But ive never tried my "best" because i know my models wont get into game since the last mods i were in wasnt sooo convincing. Here is some previous work.

their both excellent models but for a more realistic look on the m16 you might want to either extend the magazine like the current one, or make the front grip triangular, like the a1.
since this space is empty..........

For 13 years old you got some awesome work. PR, I say you take this guy and breed him into the worlds most dominant weapon modeler. He will train day and night. Hist models will be the most cunning and badass. They will move like ninjas. The world will be yours. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Depends on what Era this M16 is being modelled after. If we're talking older, Vietnam Era, then leave the mag as it is. Hand grips, yes there is a taper to them (unlike the Diemaco C7 models), but its slight and the model isnt exactly far off.

How can anyone trust something that can bleed for up to 7 days, monthly... and not die?

Nice models :) All they need are some textures and they'd look great.
