Direction in viechles
is it possible to add a directional compass on the HUD of a tank or chopper?
Something that shows the time (when you say on you siix or on you three oclock) depending on your view so that both the Gunner of a tank and the driver/commander can cordinate properly.

clock indicators could be useful in vehicles (and for infantry) although it's a very limited system - one person's 6 is not the same as someone else's.
I would very much prefer a degree based compass - using points and bearings like North and 083 would be more effective as it is a universal (as in applies to everyone equally) method of target vectoring.

To me it's common sense to call at clock directions relative to the body of the vehicle. If I see the tank body facing -> and a enemy shows up here <- then I would say 6 o'clock regardless of which way I was looking. Everyone in the vehicle would simply need to be aware of the main body of the tank, which isn't to hard to do.
Cheers,
