is it possible to add a directional compass on the HUD of a tank or chopper?
Something that shows the time (when you say on you siix or on you three oclock) depending on your view so that both the Gunner of a tank and the driver/commander can cordinate properly.

A clock indicator pluss a azimuth bearing meter would be nice to specify directions yes.

thats pic shows, waht i use now in game, but in truth, it would be more immersive if the display was shown in the HUD of the viechle.
maybe even add the gunners view position display that the chopper have to the tanks.

clock indicators could be useful in vehicles (and for infantry) although it's a very limited system - one person's 6 is not the same as someone else's.
I would very much prefer a degree based compass - using points and bearings like North and 083 would be more effective as it is a universal (as in applies to everyone equally) method of target vectoring.

To me it's common sense to call at clock directions relative to the body of the vehicle. If I see the tank body facing -> and a enemy shows up here <- then I would say 6 o'clock regardless of which way I was looking. Everyone in the vehicle would simply need to be aware of the main body of the tank, which isn't to hard to do.
