Hey guys,
Just wanted to say props to all you guys who were on the winning US team last night on devfile.
I was in an APC with 2 other amored units and were smoking the hell out of the insugents near the industry. I then managed to squad up with some PR clan and we proceeded to take the palace in about 5 minutes.
It was Project Reality at its' best.
Also, the next round as insurgents was just as good. The entire game lapsed without one flag being captured by the Americans.
Again, good stuff.

In our defense, there was an ungodly amount of camping uncaps done by your team on that round.
You guys hadn't even taken the Facility yet and there were guys sitting around sniping anyone who spawned at Palace and Suburbs.
You would think we were playing a round of Vanilla BF2. Anyway, good going I guess. My squad seemed like the only competent one on Insurgent during that first round though. So you basically beat up a bunch of the blue guys, who were retards
And, once again during our round as USMC, my BH-Assault squad was the only one doing anything during the round, half our team was at the airfield, the other half was outside the village. Oh, and we had Squads 9 and 6 running around the city, obviously oblivious to the fact they couldn't capture those spawn points.
What I'm saying is, congratulations on the victory, but you have to consider the opposition. That was hardly the best Insurgent team we've ever had.
It's like a College student beating up on a kindergartner.
A dark day for the boys of Wrecking Crew's BH assault team.

I was commanding US one round yesterday 7-8pm PST - don't often command, but I gave it a go using a lot of VOIP and direction of air power to kill spawn cars. It was a full time job, they spawn so quick, you have to keep checking so much. Usually I don't use much VOIP, my wife thinks I'm either talking to her or silly (the PC is in the living room).Skwurl wrote:Hey guys,

Funny, late in the stage of that round they were moving vehicles under market stalls, archways and any overhang. JuniperM40 in an A-10 and err... whoever was in squad 6/7 or 8 cobras did good jobs taking out spawn cars.
Forget the name (began with D) the Squad 3 leader, pretty much stuck with blowing up stuff and taking Facility again, and again, and again, till it held and we overran Mosque eventually.
Facility is definately the tipping point of that map, if you can take and hold that as US, you can pretty much get the rest easy.
