I just wanted to say to the Dev's, I really am impressed by just what im reading. I have just now downloaded and installed the mini-mod. I am excited to see what yall are gonna do. Let me ask you this...

How are you gonna keep people from bunny hoping. That is one of my pet peeves.

Bunny hoppers are currently punished by using up half their stamina bar per jump. Now, it won't prevent them from constantly jumping, however they won't be able to run very far very fast. We may come up with some better ideas for future releases. We have not yet discovered a way to make the stamina bar affect jumping (ie no stamina = no jumping).

I think I can answer this one :]

First of all, the current release of PRMM, you'll notice that if you jump.. your stamina bar goes crashing down fast.

You'll also notice that you cannot jump as high.

That's good enough for me. Bunny hopping is essentially useless in PRMM now.

As someone who has run around in battle gear its a super pet peeve to watch people break olympic pole vault records.. without the pole..and wearing 50 or 60 pounds of exhausting gear..

I'd rather be forced to use stairs and not hop railings than to keep the Bunny Hopping in the game..

You want to see a forced change in tactics watch what happens if you jumping was scaled to reality..

I also wanted to add that this will hopefully become a great mod.. BF2 has a lot of potential graphically, and with the gameplay altered to remove some of the kiddie games this will be a real challenging game..
