GPMG harder to aim?

Ok so today on Helmand (love that map, heavy AT-Kit ftw let those buildings blow!)
I was in the LARO jeep gunning in F2 position and I think it's harder to know where i'm placing my hits, harder than the .50 cal imo.
Have you guys encountered the same problem, is it just the map or should there be more tracers?

The iron sights dont line up with your view, so its "harder" to aim.

Aim by adjusting where your previous hits have landed, thats the easiest way for the mounted .50's.

Despite no iron sites I find it amazingly easy to kill and aim with it- PROVIDING the land rover is still, it does my nut in when you get a driver who doesn't stop, near enough impossible to hit anything when moving.

I find the exact opposite - the mgs are next to useless at any task
I was emptying entire mags at insurgents who were without any fear of my fire charging me. Between aiming it and compensating for the vehicle sliding while you fire you're better off on foot at least until the 50 cal is mounted on them in 0.6

Mmm strange, I've found the GPMG is immense.

GPMG is great. Has an awesome sound as well.

My preferred method with MG's on vehicles is simply to suppress with them.

It's fairly useful. Much better to have it than to not.
