Got banned off of TG again -- I censored my in-squad profanity with *'s, but that didn't work, sadly.

Since then I've noticed alot of higher population servers are sitting empty -- as of now there are only 5 people in the 24/7 albasra server ffs!

Where are you all playing? IGI is empty, and the only server with a large population was 30/32, but it was in french...

Well... I personally don't like the iGi map settings ( timers for the loss )...

But since your in maryland, only +1 hour off'a me, the times I find best to play on the TB servers ( Im not going to start about devfile! I know they try but its damn hard to admin basrah O.o ) is around 8am-11pm ish times your time

It just seems after 11pm your time, all the european servers die down,

10pm here, right when my free time opens up.

ON a side note, I don't play on the TG server, im sure teamwork night is great, but public games are usually ****.

TB is my favorite, and usually has people on it, good fair rules ( 4 punished tk's = kick ) and no timers

. Only problem is there isn't a good abr ranked server in the states ( Gloryhoundz pulled a disappearing act? Fritz is around the forums somewhere ).

I hear lots of people have problems with TG/squads :/

I was one of those people that never played there, then it said I was banned... ?? then got back on in a few seconds...

I always welcome people ( Except prone-spamming USMC spec ops, those guys I'd rather shoot in the balls )

EDIT: I just got on only to find all the regulars are on TG.
What happened to TB this sunday? Guess people have other things to do in euro-german-british-swedish-finish-ope ... forgive my ignorance

This may be totally obvious but TG only allows up to 62 players, the last two spots are reserved. If you try to join in as the 63 player it gives a message about succesfull vote kick or Tk'ing I think.

I only play on TG now. I try other servers if TG is full but I keep checking back and jump on as soon as I can. I don't find many other servers have people using VOIP. Sorry, some of the european servers have good VOIP but my ping is not always that great on them.

I don't bother with DevFile Al Barah now becuase I lag all the time on it. It doesn't matter what my ping is or my graphic settings. It took me a while to figure this out though, spent many nights bashing my head against the screen and cursing my video card

Even though I get 100-ish ping on it, I try and stick to playing on TG, best server in my opinion.

hoc ftw. and im not just saying that because im in the clan. even if i wasnt, i would play in the server. we have admins on at all times the server is up. it is up most nights, plus its located in chicago or texas, one of the two, i cant remember. lately we have not been able to populate it as well (finals week is coming up, or for me, right now). thats probably the problem with the other servers as well. give it a couple weeks

I stay away from the 24/7 Basra server (the Thor's one), since it's usually full of retards with short attention spans, who run around in HEADLESS CHICKEN OMG mode, especially on USMC. One time I joined that, I spawned on a squad leader inside a cobra, who subsequently flew away after I managed to exit the cobra when he was rearming (fortunately, he didn't take me for a wild ride around Basra without my kit). Another day, I joined a 5 person squad, and noticed that the SL was flying around in an A10. I never tried joining the server again.

Because that map isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I seem to have been banned from TG but I don't know why. Oh well.

Like I said, Devfile lags for me almost all the time. I have good PC and decent ping and it still lags. I can play Al Bashra on other servers no problem. I know allot of people complain about lag on that server, I think that may be why the #'s are going down.

@ScarFace: I think you get that message "You have been banned from the server" when the server is full and you're trying to access an reserved slot.
You arent really banned though.

Thats what I figured. I was getting the You have been Kicked/banned by admin for...." then it changed to You have been banned.....

Probably two different msgs for the same reason.

That server is worse than Devfile...at least Devfile has some good admins on, Thor's never seem to be around...
If I was an admin on Thors Basrah, I'd be banning every other USMC team, that I see...

Well, I have no lag on Devfile, even though my ping is 200..I have set my Textures to low and no more frame lag...altough I can't recognize stuff at distance, but I dont need to anyways..like I'd be able to tell IRL, if there's a towelhead behind a trash bin 200 m away...

I like the thors basrah server when people are on it, ( 45+/50 ) because there is usually a TB guy there, they do a good job on their regular server though..

I know its kind of selfish but I want a server with some good admins in the states!

Love TB servers, but a ping with 120-140 on cable kinda sucks..

Just seems stuff picks up at around.... 10am EST

He means, that none of the players use teamwork, just lone wolf and walk around the map alone, or try to capture flags like Industry or Palace
