THEY ARE POSSIBLE! Try it on Al Barsah. Take a Bh A-10 or cobra and fly as high as u can here are the heights u shjould be at to do a HALO jump:

Blackhawk- 200 feet or more. Little control and be in hover when jumping
Cobra- 200 feet or more. Little control and be in a hover or traveling very,VERY fast 400+ before jumping
A-10- Best 1 to do but not alot here so dont do it alot. 400 feet or more. Little control and should be heading up like this +

VERY VERY VERY little control.

Ok people alot of people say"U CANT DO IT, HA MEANS HIGH ALT." So what do this and after u hit the ground kill a guy or find a kit spawn place take it and kill for better gun or stay with but i have done and it works and dont make nosie u only have a pistol at first.

But once u do it u will get the airborune ribbion for parajumping that take people up.

P.S. I took facilty once doing this and even took mosque. I flew Bh up and back and took 10-15 guys up and we took it rest defended or did nothing.

Hmm this guy is kind of an idiot... Ditches the A10 just to jump to his death ( with only pistol youre gonna die pretty fast)

That means everyone has to be a pilot with pistols and when they get on the ground expect them to kill an insurgie and take their kit or a pickup gun?

IT's like the all knife squad.
it's not an everyday tactic but it's a fun change.
I call it the James Bond option because Bond never starts out with more than the pistol anyway.
It is also a great way to learn to stay alive and not run and gun.
I have never tried it with a whole squad, I think that would be great if you could all land in the same area and sneak off tno ambush enought people to get better guns.

Would be nice if SF had chutes but no, devs don't want it.

I've done this HALO before on Quai River -- was kinda fun -- 3 pilots, kill a guy and take his kit. They honestly had no clue what hit them (We got about 5 or 6 guys by supprise)
