Pilot Lounge on carriers and killboard.
This might be pushing the BF2 engine but why not add an extra deck to the carrier that is the pilots lounge? where pilots are stationed that aren't on a certian mission at that time. Then a killboard with the pilots name and when a pilot returns he checks to see if hes on top of the killboard, and whats for next briefing?

And thats just another wasted man doing nothing but lounging when he could be hiking around with a rifle shooting things.'[R-PUB wrote:A-10WarthogPilot']actually this is sorta cool
like wen a pilot is waiting for a respawn he can wait there free from rape

1. We could make a small bunker/building small enough to fit on the carrier, and then it could be at airports too.Blackhawk 5 wrote:1. Cant edit existing DICE models
2. lol no offense but it sounds silly to me...though not in real life, this is a game. Nobody like to wait.
(I could make that in sandbox, a bunker with a TV, table, few chairs and a couch.)
2. If you HAD to wait...

I would like to see some way where people waiting longest had priority. I hate it when me and my gunner wait forever for the cobra, and then some jerk comes along, hops in first, and then waits 10 minutes for his gunner friend to come along.

make it a bomb proof static, so you can put it on carriers, Inside the carrier perhaps, is that possible?Blackhawk 5 wrote:Yaha let the engineer with help of pilots and use the entrenching tool to make a lounge![]()
I think it is to put a building inside a static, i think you need a gap to put it in however...

The engine currently only accepts 2-stroke. For this you will need diesel.Fenix16 wrote:While we're on the subject of remodeling the carriers, can we also add a playground deck with slides and swings and maybe a play structure? Oh, and dont forget the movie deck. You know, a bunch of screens playing movies currently in theaters updated every week. Is this pushing the engine?

I don't think this is entirely pointless. It could be a method of implementing a queuing system for aircraft. If pilots know that there is a long queue for an aeroplane/helicopter then they may be less likely to stand around waiting (c.f. the current system where one can always wait with the intention of queue-jumping)—thus meaning more people active on the battlefield, not fewer.

Yeah, like when you get into the lounge, you decided what your going to fly, and if your willing to wait, it's all yours. This will cause problems though. If a pilot is good at, say flying transport helicopters, but the wait is extremely long, where as the F-18 is not, he would queue up for the F-18. Thus, we would have good pilots in the wrong aircraft. Which means this idea would require aircraft specific kits.
BTW, this is supposed to be a reality mod. It may be useless to have, but a die hard pilot would love it, especially the queue.
Another addition to the ultimate carrier, this would REALLY push the engine, maybe not even implementable, but here it goes. Instead of all pilot planes on the deck, some pilots take damage from enemy fire. Which means repairs are needed the pilot taxis it to an elevator, where crew members repair it and ship it back to the deck. Then when the pilot is assigned to another mission, he gets his plane and taxis himself to launch and then... WHOOSH! He's off.
Pilots get stickers on their planes if they get kills, if the game could call up a pilots kills in a plane, when ever he gets in, it adds the enemies flag symbol to the side of the plane. If a pilot has 3 kills, and no ejections, the game calls up 3 enemy flags and patches it to the side of the plane.
You may think it to be useless, but I'd feel safer flying with an Ace as my Wing Commander than a rookie.

I seriously don't think this guy is joking. His post count leads me to believe this!
EDIT: This is a game, first serve first get.
IRL, pilots get their own planes or are assigned them.
They don't wait for there teammate to RTB or Crash so they can have a turn.
