Idea for .6 insurgent squad leaders
Since insurgent squad leaders cant set rally points, why not let them have the option to "set ammo dump"? It would make to embedded special ops actually provide insurgents with weapons like they do irl. It would make the battle more dynamic and also give usmc spec ops another target for their slam

Would the insurgent pick up kits be part of the "buildable" ammo dumps? If yes, then that will equal more RPGs because about 5 full squads would have more RPGs than the already placed ammo dumps in the city and that will equal more whorage. Isn't that why the devs made the RPG gunner kit as a pick up kit? Though tt would be funny finding an ammo dump in the middle of the desert by some useless insurgent squad leader...

I like this idea. And yes they just "squat" and puff supplies come out. Its the same with rally points and everything else. Its not like we're going to ask the devs to have the SL purchase supplies and have them delivered to the spot on the ground.
GRR I dont like when people argue against gameplay bonus's using those reasons.
Anyways I support this idea, but they should have to have a special kit and should only be able to set one like every 10 minutes.
I mean its not like the insurgs cant obtain supplies or buy supplies.
Thats like the insurg tanks on al basarah. They dont respawn.. okay I can see that. But they cant be resupplied? Like the leader who bought the tanks didnt buy extra shells? Not trying to flame at all just support the idea

Well eggman has pointed out that rally points are a graphical way of saying "ok... everyone rendevous here" and not to be taken literally as 5 backpacks. Similarly the medic shockpaddles are a graphical representation of dragging the wounded guy to cover and healing.Desertfox wrote:Like gunther said, do squad leaders IRL carry 5 backpacks?![]()
If anything, ammo bags (ie. mobile ammo dumps) should be gotten rid of and everyone should have fixed ammo dumps (or vehicles being the only mobile ammo dumps). Or at the least, AT rockets shouldn't be resuppled by the ammo bags and only bullets and nades should.
So what I'm suggesting is the complete opposite of what the OP is suggesting

You're trying to compare a organized military organization to an insurgency.
You think five backpacks is asking for problems.
lugging around an ammo dump for people who don't know why you have to **** a gun is very different.
