Reconfigure the on-screen menu?

Is it possible to reconfigure the on-screen menu to include hand signals?

Was sneaking around as a spec op earlier and started confirming orders and teammate tells me to stop because the enemy can hear it. I had to resort to typing :-/

Also, what's up with the "Frag Out!" bit? I know that soldiers definitely do this, but is there any way to qwell this at certain points?

I find myself escaping alot of frags because I hear the enemy yelling "Frag Out!".

hand signals would be pretty hard to animate

i think its possible if youve ever watch what the charactor does when you idle he plays with his knife or somethin, so it can be animated, can it be binded to a key? i cant say, but im pretty sure itd take a long time would it be cool yea but i dont know if its worth it

Yeh EA are making a hand signal patch allready. At £40 its going to be a steal!

playin mushtar city tonight i realised this wouldnt be a bad idea i still think it would be extremely hard to do but i really think maybe configureing the commands in the Q key to things like "move left" "move right" "on me" would allow a squad to move in a more tactical manner in an urban enviroment

Although it would also be funny to see the communities response.

I can see it now.

A bunch of idiots running round throwing handle signals at each whilst hopping around. It's inevitable.

I dont know how you dont play without a mic... Its very usefull... Espeically when your air crew all have one... Makes the game 20billion times better. Only way I can play in a Regular BF2 server. Its if I have a mic squad.
