Getting Fit and Smart with PR!

Post by HABO3 »

Ok this is really weird but sometimes when I'm just playing casually I'll put some weights in my lap and whenever I die I'll pick them up and hit some reps until I respawn. You can't do all the different kinds of exercises there are but I've been doing bicep curls, Arnold press, forearm curls and tricep extension. Really starts to burn when the rounds get to the midway point and your deaths start adding to your respawn time. Someone would probably think it looks funny but it's better than nothing ain't it!

And then last weekend before finals I was studying my notes while I waited for respawns. I think I "studied" while playing PR 4-6 hours a day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I made a 102, 95 and a 90 on my final exams! 8-)

Yes, I'm strange.

Coffee and cigarettes (normal or "jazz") will do for me; I'm already ripped!

Beer runs for me while waiting to respawn. I roll my ciggies while driving vehicles for that added sense of danger.

I'm going to start with the weights i think though.

I think you're gonna be in an ever better shape once civilians are implemented.

I usually find respawns too short to read a book. I mean, you can read it, but it's too short of a time to get into it and focus.

I think you'd just be better off doing a proper workout.

I do, and quite a lot too. But like I said it's better than just sitting there staring at a computer screen and I don't see the difference between a "proper" workout and some of the seated exercises that are possible in a chair. The muscles get lactated all the same.

Time is a factor regarding muscles.

I do 12 to 24 ounce thumb lifts or run to the BR window for a quick smoke.
( lol ...regular and "jazz")
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

The spawns are actually way too short for a decent bong load and hit so I generally study the map, but admittedly hide out in the bushes or under a rock toking up on particularly long drawn out campaigns. You may find me deseeding and prepping between map loads, if I'm not camped in front of the 'fridge grunting out on foodstuffs.

Someone get rid of all the smacktards, that irritate me beyond sanity, and I could focus on something while waiting to respawn...
