Yes, we would like to include the US Army M107 / USMC M82A3. The Barrett M95 won the XM107 trials, then the Army changed the requirement, so it will be replaced in game by these rifles for US forces. UK forces also use an M82 variant and possibly the AW50F in some units.

Will these rifles by spawnable pickups? cause we shouldn't see more then one (and thats stretching it) on a map.
Personally I like the idea many have had of turning the selectable sniper clas into a Designated marksman, with possibly a M21, or M14DMR.
The druganov can stay becuase IIRC it was originally designed to extend the range of an infantry platoon, essentialy what the role of a Designated Marksman is. I have no idea how the Chinesse army structures its snipers/DMs so I can';t speak there

i would like to see the DM(designated marksmen) used on some maps (more urban oriented, or if the maps are centered on specific units)
one other possibility is if mods can use the button for unlocks that allows each class to basically have 2 primary weapons assigned to it if thats the case id like to see a sniper rifle (m40, m107, m95 etc) placed in the unlock position, and the DM rifle in as the default main weapon (m21, M14 etc etc)
now keep in mind im very much against unlocks but id say make it like that all kits have two choices for there main rifle but give each choice a plus or minus
IE
m107 more power accuracy at longer range, but more recoil slower reload cant cant shoot unless prone or crouched
m14 more accurate at short range faster reload can shoot when standing or moving
and for other classes like assault it could be as simple as slight changes in the model or a hole new weapon all together
IE spec ops can alternate between m4 with aimpoint more accurate at longer range but harder to fire accurately without looking thru
or M4 with laser pointer easier in CQB (dont need to look down iron sights just set laster pointer up like crosshairs) less accurate at medium to longer ranges

Laser pointers are nearly useless, aimpoints are a far better way of being able to aim and move at the same time

that was the first example i thought of not a realistic one

hah sorry, I had started to post some ideas of my own but got distracted, didn't intend to make a purely negative post =p
Perhaps specops (which should be renamed recon if they're to remain in the mod) should be given the option of using a suppressed M4

Yes, that type of setup for selectable and differentiating weapons what we would like to go for. Although the HTI/AM rifles may be in pick-up kits only since they are rare.

id say there should be more than one of those pickups though, along with an equal number of (if theyre USMC anyway) a spotter class pickup. since usually theres more than one sniper/spotter team employed right? but the most id want to see it get to is 2 pickups of those heavy rifles.

I think that the specops should be made "recon", and that a recon guy should be able to be a spotter

Well, the sniper team observer carries a rifle; in US service, this means either an M16 (with or without an M203) or one of the many flavors of designated marksman rifle (SDMR, USMC SAM-R, Mk-12, M14 EBR, USMC M14 DMR, SR-25, Mk-11, etc). So, another sniper with a DMR of some type can act as the observer/local security element for a sniper team. The actual role of an observer would be difficult to implement in-game.

i say combine the role of the observer with that of the CCT and make that the "spec ops" class call it recon CCT or watever

As I said in another thread, USAF CCTs are not the only troops trained to call in close-air support and supporting arms. USMC Scout/Snipers, Division and Force Recon, Army infantry battalion scouts (11B infantrymen or 19D cavalry scouts) and the sniper teams drawn from them, LRS units, SF, SEALs, etc.; pretty much any soldier in a unit with a reconnaissance task and infantry unit leaders are trained for this task.
However, there are units and soldiers that specialize in these tasks that are often attached to infantry and sometimes SOF units. These include USMC ANGLICO (Air/Naval Gunfire Liaison Company), USAF TACPs (Tactical Air Control Parties), Forward Observers/Fire Support Teams aka "FISTs" (these are soldiers with an artillery MOS) and others. They are highly trained in these areas and can call in and adjust CAS and supporting fires (depending on their training) with greater accuracy than troops who may have to maintain call-for-fire skills as part of an even greater skillset.
In short, having the Special Operations and Sniper classes (whatever their names may be on whatever map) be able to call in artillery and CAS would be appropriate and realistic.

i didnt say make them a CCT i said combine the idea wed had earlier of making a radio operator/cct/FO into the spec ops role
which is basically what you said

Well you could give spec ops the choice of a carbine (i.e. M4 with aimpoint and supressor) or a full length rifle (m16, maybe m16 with 4x acog?) and that would allow them to fufill a range of recon duties.

How about giving the observer binoculars and increasing the zoom for the rifle a little more?
This would give the sniper disadvantage of "tunnel vision" when scanning for long range targets.
The observer's binocs would serve as a great spotting tool (assuming the commander doesnt have that magical map).
