Hello every one!

This is my project what i'm busy with right now. I try to create a low poly model for game purposes.

Since I was a child I've always been interested in helicopters and games. Thats why I chose to model a helicopter. I wanted model something what would be fun.

---Modelling---

Right now I am in the modelling part. I hope I'm finished in few days if everything goes well.

Here's something to look at

I still have to model the inside and the blades.

I started looking for a subject and searching for it's blueprints. After that I made planes and put a blueprint "texture" on them.

I was stupid and started modeliing with lines the heli, instead of editable poly. Well, it wasnt so bad after all. I put a Surface modifier and converted it to edit poly. VĂ³ila. After that I used all the time the Edit poly.

Next part is of course uv mapping.

If you got any suggestions or something, please say it. I'm still learning.

looks gd but you do not need to start a new topic for every update, use your old topic.... http://realitymod.com/forum/t22204-gazelle-wip.html

ok m8 you know what the cokpit looks like, cuase if you dont its the simplest cockpit in the world, just a single panel on the pilots side. Ask if you want pics

Yeah, pics would be great.

@shaw, yes, the model will be free4everyone. I know how to model, uwvmap and texture. I have studied the hierachy alot, but coding in bf2 editor isnt my specialty :( Mayby later I need help with it.

Does anyone know is it possible to make the side doors openable by the sitting passenger? It would be cool If you could open/close the sidedoors, regardless of the co-pilot (merlin).

Perhaps if you sacrificed the 'look right/left' function with the right and left mouse buttons you could bind it to that somehow?

well, i meant that the passenger himself could do that.
