Rank n00b begginner help.

Post by BeerHunter »

How n00b? Well , I'm not even too sure how the support gives ammo or medics heal , that's how n00bish I am. :-(

I'm wondering if there's a down loadable manual for PRM anywhere.

I've spent quit a bit of time reading "how to"' on the net and and watching UTube tutorials but would like something I could curl up with a read , as well as keep it for reference.

Been trying to get the SP going for some practice but no luck so far (other than the SP mode built into the original install with a few maps) but that's another topic.

The best thing really is to watch these tutorials:

Then, play and learn, and if there are more specific questions, look here:

Also, if you're in a Voip squad, dont be shy to ask questions.

Welcome BeerHunter (your name suggests I will like you already  )

There is a wiKi or guide detailing alot of info. It is up top beside the forum button. Also when you install PR there should be a players guide shortcut on your desktop, it will take you to the same spot.

It will take a little time to catch onto things but just keep plugging away in game. Also watch the top left of your screen in game as it will give you info sometimes when trying to request kits or drive vehicles etc.

Search these forums as well, there is a wealth of knowledge on here already as any question you have has probably been asked already

Oh and wait at least 1 month before even looking at the suggestions forum. Be sure to check the single player forum for SP help. Have fun

just a quick answer to the two qs you posted. Support/medics carry either ammo or medi kits. you either use mouse wheel or F to search through your weapons and kit.

Then all you do is stand next to someone who needs health for example and you will hear a bandaging sound with a + right of the screen.

think for support you just throw the ammo on the ground for people to take.

For next open beta, the devs said for ammo packs you have to hold down the left mouse button to hand out ammo, like the current medic pack in v0.6 open beta.

Really, why read the guide when they make a movie? When do you add subtitles for us foreigners?
