Dont know if its possible to make a new carrier. As a different object.

But yeh, a British Carrier with a ski jump and a few harriers and Merlins would be cool.....

relax guys a harrier jump jet is on his way and the lynx helicopter will also come and the british Apaches are used on carriers

when the harrier is in game, yes then there will be jets on the landing craft (the F/A-18 can not start and land on this tini landingcraft (actually it is no aircraft carrier) and the F-35 are to modern 4 the devs, so they will bring in the harrier as new Jet for Brits and USMC it even is included in the last beta files, but i did not check wether it is allready playable

ideas of making something like the HMS arc royal have came up lots of times in the past. Please use the search button.

main reason why at this stage we are not going to make a brand new carrier is because the amount of time modeling, skinning it etc would take up a hell of alot of time. maybe after v1 is released but not so soon.
