Static minimap or Rotation minimap?
When playing PR, which minimap setting do you use? The static minimap or rotation minimap? I use the rotation minimap because I think it's a little easier to use and it has a working compass and now that the PR devs included another working compass, there are two compasses on my HUD, ha. So which minimap setting do you use? Also, another question, which of the two minimap settings is easiest to use?

I use the static minimap, because it makes orientation easier. If I have a part of the large map more or less memorized (or at least I can recognize it), I find it easier to compare the minimap picture with what I have memorized if both maps are facing the same way. In other words, if I see a building on my minimap, and I see myself below it, I can tell that I'm south of that particular building. If, however, I see the building in the top part of my map, and it's rotated, I have to take a second longer to realize where I actually am.
On top of that, static minimap makes it easier to determine location of object in relation to things other than yourself. If you're approaching a flag, and someone tells you that there's an enemy to the south-west of the flag, you can quickly find the south-west of the flag on the minimap.

I agree on Daranz as well.
And it`s easier to communicate within a squad. If everybody has the static minimap you can be sure that a point north (or whatever direction) on your mininmap is north on their minimap as well.
