Hit Detection

What is the problem with this? Some times it registers and sometimes it doesnt both times there is blood. What is it? should I not aim at the head or what? Is there any way to fix this?

1.) Play 0.6 with slower running speeds
2.)Get better connection
OR:
3.) Stop downloading pr0n and close down every other thing to ensure max connection speed
4.) Aim for body, not head
5.)When I doubt, noob tube 'em

I don't even notice this issue anymore. My ping is abot 60-80 on TG server and I only play RC.607 Before, in .5 I noticed this **** ALL THE TIME...it was the worst. Now if someone is running around in the open, they are likely to be killed almost as easily if they were standing there...no more gheyness. I headshotted an insurgent driving a technical down the street...first time I can say that. Detection is pretty good now, headshots FTW.

There was a time on Jabal where I was on top of a building in City and a guy in a hummer came driving up and got in the gunners position. Shot him at least 15 times, saw blood everytime and he still manged to get back into the drivers seat and back up. He got back in the gunners position shot him a couple more times, he still couldnt see me, so he got out and ran behind a building. Now seeing blood every single shot and him not sying is a little weird.

And no I wasn't downloading porn, It was TG (.607) where I get an average ping of 70, and I was an Medic so i didnt have anything to "noob tub em" with.

If this blood isnt going to mean a hit then remove it till it only means hits. Sure its cool but its just getting confusing and demoralizing (for me).

It's the net coding for BF2. Try a game of vanilla single player, and you'll notice the difference. As Outlawz said, try shutting down background tasks and programs which are using you connection while playing, such as IM programs.

I just reformated my computer there is nothing on there beside windows xp(and its ****) , ArmA, and PR. I amvery sure that has nothing to do with it. And If it did. Half a clip of bullets and blood everytime... that isn't a a connection problem.

And I am very sure its better then BF2 but this is PR and if bloods going to fly from a person it shoud mean a hit everytime.

Dude its not the game, there might be something going on with your connection or your connection to the server or whatever. Update the firmware on your router etc...get the IP of the server and run a ping test, see if there is a big slow down somewhere...see how many jumps it takes to get there. I dont experience this kind of stuff at all, except for the guys sitting in a gun turret...its almost like they get extra armor or something. Surely I have never put 15 bullets into a guy though.
