Donate Server to PR Community
I have a **** load (20+) of extra servers at work and was going to set one up to be donated to PR for having played for so long.
It will be a dual dual core(yes 4 cores) 3.4 and 4 gig ram windows 2003 server on a 15mbit/15mbit frac. DS3 connection.
Only thing is i really dont have the time to do the research to set it up (what little time i have is spent trying out .6)
So can some one set it up if i setup a remote desktop connection to it or provide details on getting it setup so that i could do it quickly?
I'm thinking of public admins , just people who play on it alot, as I wont have enough time. No crappy maps, and hopefully english only but i understand that may be pushing it.

I can do so.
I have an active clan that can act as admins and know a good deal about server setup. The clan is focused on staying true to the heart of PR, tactical squad combat, and I feel would make good admins. I would love to work with you on this. Contact me on xfire @ ratlover232 or pm me for more details.

Rat's good at the set up, there's a group of us that play together all the time. Built in admins. Been playing PR for quite some time and we don't allow any monkey business. I'd be able to admin almost every night. Certainly wouldn't call it a clan server, to much baggage with that.

actually. for all you relatively new folk out there, there used to be a DEV run server called Gloryhoundz.....that is until our server files for PR got so big we had to use the game server as a storage server...the death of classic PR IMHO...
I must admint TG and a few other servers have done a very nice job of filling the hole...much appreciated....

If its alright with the DEV's, i dont mind it being the offical PR server. Do what you want with it.
And dont worry about space, i believe its on a 300gig raid5 setup.
I'll provide information tommarow morning (IP,login/pass), warning however this is on my work network along side of our production servers, so i will be watching.
I"ll put it on its own VLAN later.
What ports need to be opened? I'll open 3389 for RDP but i dont know what ports the BF2 server needs.
