Hey,
I think I remember actually seeing other soldiers wearing their nightvision goggles when they were using them in BF2:SF? Just like the gasmask.
I've noticed in PR this doesn't seem to apply. I was just wondering if you are aware of this and could add it, as it's more realistic!
Thanks!

I wouldn't mind seeing the actual night vision goggle model on the soldiers. More eyecandy.

Yeah, hopefully all they have to do is add the line of code from BF2:SF. I forgot to mention in my 1st post that it was in BF2:SF that I saw soldier models actually wearing the goggles when they used them in their game. I've corrected it now though

They run out of batteries. In SF you can actually see how much battery left you have, but I don't know how much realistic is that.

The devs took it out the meter in one of the betas, because now the NVGs are supposed to have enough batteries to last a around.... or not...

I thought the devs turned the night vision battery life off...

I don't see a big deal with NVG's turning off - you just have to turn them on again.
Maybe the battery is still here, but it recharges instantly ?

and if you were about to knife that sniper, and he turned around and shot you in the head while you were messing about fixing your NVGs? ( or civillian, although all he could do would be to give you a nasty bash with a rock)

Yeah that would be cool, and the nvg mount should reflect if the nvg are being used or not if possible.

NVG's only turn off, when you respawn
