adjust the tank commander view

Post by mrmong »

Does anyone notice that the machine gunner gets in the way of the commander view, its really hard to see if the .50 cal and gunner keeps clipping into the camera. Its the worse when somebody turns the 50.cal to the left and then leaves the gun position so you have a gun barrel blocking your view through the tank.

also when your zoomed in all the way the tiniest twitch of the mouse sends the camera flying.

yep ive noticed that any tiny movement will move it allot.

But in real like a zoom maximizes not only the picture but all the actions.

When you go back, though, you stare at the open hatch...

What are you talking about???? The TC can't be manning the 50 .cal at same time as looking through the CITV!
And he is certainly not going to let some random guy be standing on his freakin' head while being buttoned up....

Correct me if Im wrong about the zooming, but isn't the CITV actually motor controlled? Which would give it better accuracy then a mouse, or a manual periscope movement. When you don't have the sense of touch, something needs to be compensated, and movement really relies greatly on touch.

Also about OP shouldn't the CITV also move in relation to the turret, because at present when the turret moves the CITV module stays in a stationary spot, and does not orbit with the turret like it should.

Got one. Still not perfect, or any good for refined movement of fully zoomed CITV.
