Names in the game

This is the great mod! Few days ago my friends and me played this mod in LAN 20 on 20 and it was great! We will certainly continue to play it from now on because this is the game we wanted BF2 to be!

I have a little request/question: how can we turn on the names in the game? We just want to see who killed who, but we don't want to see with what weapon we killed someone. This is important to us because we like a little competition between our selves ;) Is there a line of code we should add somewhere to enable this?

Please help! :)

Once again - this is really really great mod! :D

well, you can, but when you do you wont be able to play on regular PRMM servers because you will have modded the already modded content :confused: .

however if youre only planning on playing LAN, im sure someone can help you out, ill turn it over to them now :grin: thanks for your positive comments.

I will play original PRMM on the Internet without any modifications, but we need names only for LAN games, but names without weapon used for kill. We play PRMM once or twice per week in LAN (approximately 50 people every time) and would really appreciate any help on this :)

...or if you can point me to the file from where did you remove names, so I can try to fix it somehow?

Nevermind, I don't care :D

This forum has been sending me happy birthday reminders for 12 years now. Each year I come back to see if this mod is still alive, even if I don't play BF2 any more and to my surprise - it's alive. :)

Those were happy memories. :D

I wish that BF wasn't so f-ed up today as it is.

BTW You don't need to install BF2 anymore, PR is now standalone :)
