Post by Eddiereyes909 »

Hey guys i was getting into the site today, and i noticed i had to read the forum rules, and i LOVE that idea, and i believe the time rate was 20 seconds.
(correct me if im wrong)

Any way thats a pretty good idea.

Maybe it was just me, well i got a page before i could view the forums.

I had to "read and accept the forums regulations" in order to view the forums.

Maybe it was just me,, but i think it is a good idea.

You didn't get any forums rules then you had to click "accept" at the bottom? I think its a brilliant idea also!

For some reason I also had to reaccept the forum rules today. It seems like somebody reset it or something.

Nither did I. My user title reset, though -- how do I change that anyways? I havn't seen the option since I first made my account (Was "Armed and Ready" for the longest of time, want to change it to my ingame name)

EDIT: Oh is that right Bosco? Well, Users with ~1000 posts are...WARRENT OFFICER 1's! HAH!

It has been removed because people tried to be smartasses and dodged around the "No custom BANNED user titles" rule.

Aw, that sucks. Don't imagine the mods could adjust that on a per user basis?

I didn't see any rule page when I visisted. I assume this is because the Dev's recognize that my level of intelligence and sophistication is exemplary, far beyond the average forum member. That or since I haven't cleaned out my temp internet folder in a while means when I reset my cookies I will have to read them.

I prefer to believe it is the first point though.

Wrong on both counts Long Bow. It is because you are Canadian and therefore well-mannered by default, or something.

The avatar/user title thing is a little irritating, but only in the sense that people don't like to lose features they once had. I won't lose sleep over it, and let's face it neither should the admins. I am not a Gunnery Sergeant, I am a free man!!!!one.

I saw no rules either and since I doubt anyone thinks I am so well mannered that I do not need rules I will assume it was because I am either: beyond reproach or beyond help.
What is the maximum rank on the forum avatar titles ?
I noticed people with more than twice as many posts as I have but they have the same rank.
Is there a "time in grade" feature ?
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

I didn't see any rules either.

Maybe it won't show up for those that have this set as a homepage with automatic log in?
