i know its been suggested before,, but wye cant chopper get ropes ,, if you make the grappling hooks in an chopper, it should be possible right "?

Arjan, this has been suggested before, on more occasions than Joan Collins has had men. Please use the search function and search for "fast roping" or "fastroping". In the many results you get will be all the reasons and discussion about fastroping that you could require in order to provide a full and detailed answer to your question.

...and it is a question to which you will find the answer by searching. As a general rule it is considered "the done thing" to search for answers here before re-asking a question. However, if you come across something that has not been mentioned or some way of working in the fast ropes - after reading what has already been posted - then I am sure there are many people in this community who would be very interested to hear your ideas.

BF2 actually had this feature but they scrapped it because it didn't improve the gameplay the way they wanted to

so it could be done

If they had done anything to improve the gameplay, we wouldn't have the BF2 of today.

And two the day before. Has anyone noticed the vBF2 players have gradually started finding the forums, asking stupid questions and thinking they have the best suggestion ever that no one has thought before?

Well, this wasn't what I thought. I thought a fasting roping thread so entitled couldn't possibly be the usual "why can't we have fastropes?" thread, and expected some kind of useful suggestion or solution.

I hate that movie and I wish every copy would just implode.
If it could be done it would suck *** because it is not needed and represents another kiddie tactic that is incomprehensible to me.
Why in the effen world would you want to dangle in the air as target when a smart SL and pilot would drop you out of the hot zone ?
It's Hollywood bullshit and has no practical place in the game at this time.
The rotors on the helo don't really exist in the game so if you can fit the body of the helo then you can land, making fast roping a pointless and dangerous procedure suited more to people who use screennames like Jack-Bauer and 1337snyper.

Why not concentrate on learning the rules of CO assets and figuring out that you must hold one flag while the next is being attacked ?
You know, things that actually matter to the game.

Because we have been told it does not work and I'm just curious about how you are so sure that it can be done.

And in case you think we are mean or not friendly to newcomers, i would remind you this is about the 5th useless, BTDT post of this weekend alone and more than one came from you.

You create new threads to link to your existing threads as if we are too dumb and need to be reminded of your infinite and august greatness.

Also, you use the term "we" as if you are part of the Development team and not just another player who can't be bothered to search the forums and learn the details before busting out with all these great suggestions.

Personally, I take it as if you think that the DEVs are stupid and didn't think of this and they need you to help them out of their creeping malaise.
