Idea's I haven't seen suggested.
Hi guys, congratulations on a truly excellent mod.
I've done a bit of searching but didn't find anything on these, sorry if I didn't search hard enough and they already have suggested.
Would it be possible for a new voice to be put in when pressing q to say to your squad that the way ahead is clear and likewise, something like contact spotted behind us. Countless times I've been playing and have managed to get further ahead or visa versa than the other members towards an objective. It would be great to be able to tell your squad that the last 100 metres you have covered seems to be clear of the enemy. It would cut down on the scenario of respawning at the rp then crawling for hundreds of metres when there has been no need to, or the opposite where a squad mate or yourself spawn at the rp then sprint to catch your mates only to make the mistake of running straight into a contact and getting gunned down. Something like "way ahead seems clear" and "contact spotted on our flank"
What do you guys think, and is it possible?
And another idea to try and stop some of these idiots who seem to have an auto punish button for tk's. How about setting a ten second time limit before you can even press to punish or forgive a teamkill? That way it gives a cooling off period and a chance for the teamkiller to apologise before the guy who has just been tk'd to have a chance to think about if they really want to punish after thinking about what happened.
I'm sure it's happened to all of us where we've run into a building only to suprise and be suprised by a team mate, he's opened fire, you've done the same, you've been more accurate and killed him first, he's hit punish before you've even let go of the fire button. Now imagine the same senario with my idea. You run into building, make him jump, he does the same to you. Now with the 10 second delay, he thinks, oh yeah actually i did shoot at him first, maybe it was as much my fault as it was his, and he has said sorry, I guess I'll forgive.
Is this possible? Again, what do you guys think?

I use voip all the time, but it seems a lot of people don't. Don't get me wrong a hell of a lot more peolpe use voip on pr than vanilla but a lot still don't, or sometimes especcially on the european servers that I frequent, we don't all speak the same launguage, rendering voip useless at times, so it's a way of getting the point across.
And as for "ball's haven't dropped" ecko, fyi I'm 36 so they are well and truly dropped!

There's a bit more than just learning a couple of foreign words to play as an effective squad my friend. I just thought it would be good to tell your mates that the next 100 metres are clear to advance at a decent pace. And yes the spotting system is good, but as I have said, the spotting system does not have a command to tell guys you haven't spotted anything. As it is called project reality, it is more realistic to tell your squad that the building, forest, fort etc is now clear. Thats how it works in the real world, so why not have even more realism?

That was in reference to people who have been bullied about there voice and so are embarrassed to use VoIP. (Seen it happen in many games)budvarholsten wrote:I use voip all the time, but it seems a lot of people don't.
