Quick feedback of .6
Hey, haven't posted here for a while, but after playing the newest for a while, needed to leave a bit of feedback.
There's a lot of great additions. Kudos. I really like a lot of the stuff, the new maps are awesome and the new vehicles and weapons (that I've seen - nobody runs the maps with the Russian rebels....) are cool.
Two issues, though:
The British IFV causes MAJOR framerate drops, and video glitches. I posted a video of the glitch from .5. Use to happen to me only on Greasy Mullet and Al Basra. Now it's those maps, plus any map with destructible environments, plus when a Brit IFV drives by me. Ouch.
Big one: 5.56 is horrendously under-powered, but for some reason it only seems that way from the American rifles. Brit rifles seem fine for some reason...? It really shouldn't take more than a three-round burst center mass from an A2 to put someone down. I can't tell you how many times I've done two bursts only to get hit once by some Chinese or MEC rifle and go "critically wounded." I can kind of see the MEC rifle, since it's a G3, but the Chinese rifle's terminal ballistics should be nearly identical to 5.56... I'm also seeing a lot of fairly close headshots with 5.56 doing absolutely nothing to deter the other guy from turning and shooting me once in the chest so I go "critical."
Sorry, some of this is undoubtedly venting, since I just finished another couple of rounds with just these problems.

Not only that, it seems like .6 made it so that the British pwn everything. They even made the Insurgents sh!tty as hell so the British can super pwn them.{YBBS}Sage wrote:

1. The bomb maker doesn't have enough bombs
2. If bomb maker can't blow anything up, atleast give him a gun where he can defend himself.
3. Why are the insurgents so heavy? they have the most limited sprint.
4. PR has turned into a game made purely for British people. That is why the Brits have a total unfair advantage over everyone else in the game.
I'm not going to tell the Devs to change this, because it is thier mod, but I think this may affect the number of players of the mod and I find it that others and I are playing less PR.

Replying to your points in turn:Raynizzle1691 wrote:Not only that, it seems like .6 made it so that the British pwn everything. They even made the Insurgents sh!tty as hell so the British can super pwn them.

- How many bombs would you, in real life, be willing and able to keep in your pockets? The Insurgent Ambusher has to get his materials from somewhere- weapons caches - just like USMC, PLA, MEC and GB engineers have to get THEIR supplies from somewhere. You want massive IED minefields, you work with teammates to make sure you're kept supplied with ammo bags.
- The Ambusher has a shotgun for point-blank defence. As mentioned in point 1., if he's running around placing IEDs, he should have someone with him for ammo supplies (which means he's got them to shoot people for him at longer range). I actually choose the Ambusher class when assaulting the Vehicle Check Point, because that shotgun is excellent in CQB.
- The insurgents are supposed to represent an uprising by the local population in response to the occupation/control of their locality by the Brits. They're not troops who've spent the past however many years in training, PT and drill, they're local civvies who've picked up a gun in defence of their homes. How many of your neighbours can run for over 100m with a 20kg / 60lb rucksack on their back, let alone shoot afterwards?
- Uh? That's a pretty ridiculous assertion. The Brits frequently get their asses handed to them on 7 Gates by the PLA, and they can really struggle on Assault on Mestia if they don't get both East and West Tower quickly. I've seen more 7G and AoM maps lost by the Brits than won, far more.

"Did they say what he's angry about?" asked Annette Mitchell, 77, of the district, stranded after seeing a double feature of "Piranha 3D" and "The Last Exorcism." - Washington Post
