Barret M4 6.8
I just witnessed the Barret M4 6.8 Cal Assault Rifle on Futurweapons, and I'm really impressed.
It has the accuracy and velocity of the 5.56, but the stopping power of the 7.62. The M4 6.8 is basically the exact same rifle as the M4A1, but it has a larger round for more stopping power.
Will the M4 6.8 ever be featured in Project Reality?

Dan: "Mhmm, interesting. And how much does the gun weigh? Whats the recoil like? How accurate is it?
Steve: "About 50 pounds, it broke my shoulder when I fired it, and it couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. But it sure looks cool"

Normally i dont get involved in threads like these but DAMN Future Weapons is infected all these people's minds with all these l337 weapons. There probably a least 10 people who have signed up in these forums just to suggest some Future Weapons gun!! The DEVs should pay those guys for bringing these people here.

Its filling all your minds with these l337 weapons and then a lot of "you" come here to suggest it. This is Project Reality, not Project l337.MrDow123 wrote:Whats wrong with Future Weapons?

Those weapons are being used in modern warfare. Just because they are "cool" does not mean they are inneffective

Does the US army use them? Does the US Marine Corps use them? Does any middle eastern country use them(MEC)?Do the PLA use them? Do the Royal Marines or British Army use them? No, NO and no! So im not trying to be mean but what part of Project Reality dont you get??MrDow123 wrote:Those weapons are being used in modern warfare. If any piece of gear or weapon that you see is not being used IN MASS or at least in a decent number by any of the factions in this game, then DONT WASTE YOUR TIME SUGGESTING IT.
That is all.

Sorry you feel like that. Its just that a lot of people read these forums daily and they form the lifeblood of PR. They also read 5-10 Suggestions every day and of those most will be completely unrealistic or have been already suggested.MrDow123 wrote:Wow, don't I feel welcome on these forums

When you have read your way through a thread and you have worked out its not going to happen, a lot of people just end up pissed off and post accordingly. That isn't all of us. Some of us are actually tolerant
Welcome to the forums and welcome to PR

The fact that the PLA and PAP actually do have a "laser blinding weapon" for use in crowd control is beside the point...Severloh wrote:hey c'mon I saw a Laser Gun other day on future weapons, let the PLA have it, what's the problem with that![]()
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!
