Official anti-hack thread?
Well I was reading through the forum and came across this thread about all the vehiclehacks going around in PR lately. I encountered it once yesterday, for my third time in PR in a week. So as I read through it someone said to the admins to screen the names on the scoreboard every time it happened, sort out the regulars first to get a smaller group and continue to do this until there was only one option of who's the hacker.
So why not make a new sticky about this so everyone can post screens there? It would probably benefit all servers out there and make PR atleast a little more hacker-free.

When we experienced this on our server, the guy came back with a different name 2 minutes later. Also, even if we were able to determine with certainty who it was, they'll either change their name and/or their hash code; since if you know how to hack than it's highly likely you know how to change your hash to something else (easy) if you get banned.
The influx of hacking has coincided with the latest release of PR.609; hackers seem to gravitate to whatever game/mod is the most popular at that moment, since, that's why they hack in the first place: to try and get attention. We can probably expect similar spikes in hacking activity with each release.

The thing is, they're not really hackers, they're script kiddies. They either paid for the software or found it somewhere.Wolfe wrote:When we experienced this on our server, the guy came back with a different name 2 minutes later. exactly. and the commander hacks are not detected by PB so basically any retard can use them. unless you get a screenshot of your screen when your using it. then ur F**kededdie wrote:The thing is, they're not really hackers, they're script kiddies. i have a SS of the hack being used on the DVB server a few days ago.
its also extremely hard to find the person while using it unless you pause the server then have pb take a SS of everyone then manually go through them.
