Well, as stated, hello. I'm new to the site (Not the Game) and did as it recommended. I've gota question though. Are there actually ranked PR servers where I can get promoted

Yes, the solution is called Alternative Battlefield Ranking (ABR).
A number of servers support ABR and will reflect your in-game rank. Just look for servers that have "ABR" in their name.

Secondly, I recommend downloading the ABR client from:
http://thors-brigade.net/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=3

Once you install the ABR client, click on Project Reality Servers 0.6!
This will give you a list of servers which support ABR. Now click on one of those servers, click on the "JOIN SERVER" button and enjoy!

Welcome my friend. I'm new too. I actually just started playing PR a few weeks ago, a game that is much more fun and realistic than anything CSS or DOD:S can give you.

Oh yeah. I used to say that DOD was the most realistic game. Not anymore. You makers of PR have done a magnificent job!!! Just a few tweeks here and there and it'll be perfect! And thanks for the links ante9383
