ok i dont know if it has been sugested before but if it was then its ok with me to lock the thread.
umm i was wondering if it is possible to make damagable roads so that when you put an ied on the road and blow it or when a arty shell hits the ground, a big hole gets created(something like the runways in kashan desert) and inorder to fix those holes you have to use shovels!! i mean in the real life ieds make some big a$$ holes in the ground: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e1cf736b14
by the way in the real life insurgent dig the road and plant ieds. is it possible to do that in PR. i mean whenever you want to put an ied on the road you would actualy need to dig a hole with your shovel first and then plant your ied.

Go play Kashan.

The road would have to be modelled and match the road in the map. They can then made destructable (Long process + 2 models).

for digging holes; not possible, just find a bush or some rubbish and lay a mine, they are proximity detonated as they are temproray IED placeholders.

Ah I Din't know that.

Anyway, Destrutable Roads are useless, since.. well.. you can have Road Blockades, which are easier to do

Whoa...mines are proximity detonated? Sweet!

i did testing with the proximity area, it's not big, it's only good for hiding around sharp corners wher it's hard to see (and then you have to hopethat the vehicle gets close enough to it

I love using roadside bombs in PR. Just get a ammo guy to folow you (or take a car), place a C4 on both sides of the road and a mine in the middle and when the guy tries to avoid the mine by driving off road: BOOOOOOM :D
