Ok can someone convince me that yelling the word "grenade" makes it any safer for nearby friendlies? I am so sick of sneaking up on a squad and having them all vacate because my idiot soldier keeps giving away my position and feels it necessary to narrate

Look, I think that the verbal noise should be either a server option or removed entirely. I cannot get over how many times a full squad has managed to evade my precisely placed frag because my soldier keeps screaming like he's bi polar. Which brings me to my next point; the screaming of a players actions is not only irritating, but it is either useless or harmful! Either you're in a firefight and can't hear the warning, or you're sneaking up and it gives away your position. Worse still, a soldier can just rush you with full auto and you can't pull out your rifle for a second or two. I've almost stopped using grenades unless my position is already revealed. Anyways here is a detailed account of the effects of ADHD and PR.
well, i know that when you change your weapon you can change also the hud (in DCon when you have the binos , your spotter option becomea "arty needed") , so why if ,when you have a nade in your hand , the "roger" or "negative" hot keys becomes the screaming granade or "incoming granade" , so you can choose when to scream .
I aggre with the screaming! It's damned irritating when you give some ammo to a sniper or nade launcher, and you instantly start screaming: HERE IS YOUR AMMOOOOO!!!!!
Or you start shouting at the enemy when throwing a nade like in a stupid rambo film.

- 2 soldier is about to blast a house. One is waiting with ready weapon, the other is with granade. Now who throw tha granade won't shuot as loud as he can to notify the other!
- Somebody sneaked up to a position to nade out a bunker to allow others to move. As the bunker is out the others will cover him. He definetly won't scream, because then he will be dead maybe even before he have threw the nade. He may ask hes mates if they are ready quiet over the radio, but nothing more.
- One of the greatest adventage of the nades that you won't spot the attacker by hes weapon's sound/light. Even if you could shot somebody, nades are optimal to hit and run. The enemy may won't even know what have exploded there. Real soldiers know this. Of course they don't shout then.
- And at last: If you need to shout, you shout, and watch others if they have noticed it. If they run towards the spot youwant to nade you won't throw it. You don't shout after you threw it.
I think the shout with granade should be taken out completly, or be moved into the quick menu as an optional thing, so you will be able to notify others if needed and in time. And ammo and other shouts should be taken out completly. And if it's possible, please add an "Explosives down!" shout, you would be able to use it with enginier blowing up something, with enemy mine, and with a lot of things!

Given that fact the best thing to do is right click and hold BEFORE you advance on the enemy position, this allows your guy to scream " Frag Out " when you right click and then allows you the moment to silently throw the grenade.
OF course, you have to hope that nobody is near you when you do that and that you are far enough away from the enemy when you do it.
But since it is hardcoded you must find your own solutions to the problem or buy and donate the source code to PR.
