Why dose sniper ammo disappear

Post by 5th Marine Scout »

Snipers ammo should not disappear it would be alot beta for tracking perposes and on some levels in the game you should have shiny ammo.

Black Cased Ammo

One of the few things left for improvement in Sniper Equipment, is the highly visible and shiny brass of the cases, while they are extracted.

Do any current U.S. regiments issue advanced marksmen with this black-cased ammunition?

That webiste is... interesting.

Thanks for your suggestion.

The site is just a Sniper fan site.

The ammo has never been in production, it's just an invention of the host.

Of course Sniping is in other fields then the military, but this is a military game, so, obviously we will have military sniping.

Black sniper ammo would be a benifit to any Army, as casings due to thier mettalic shine can be seen from around 100 meters away in sunlight, however, with rapid improvments being made in caseless ammo, this could be a more of a problem than an asset, due to the years of testing and perfecting needed before it gets the green light for widespread issue. Seeing as caseless ammo has been going for around 30 years or more it will be very soon I think until we have them in our hands. However this site does bring up many interesting views so good job 5th marine!

Well i admit it is a dead end idea.

It's about time some exotic yet afforable, functional caseless weapons begin to hit the market. Then the next big thing can occur. Maybe man portable ETC rifles firing 10mm sabots.
